Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14 years old. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's records as a professional were affected. Ladd won her next fight in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by first-round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar during the second round. Aspen employed her impressive grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her via third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen was then able to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO during the second round. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd defeated Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for her performance on the night. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her streak to win. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya during the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was a unanimous one.
