Tulloch received the nickname Bitsie at the time she started acting. It was her name until 2017 when she changed to Elizabeth. When I first meet someone I will introduce myself to them by calling myself Bitsie. The name worked for me as I started acting during my early 20s. Now, I am still in my thirties. I was thinking it might be a good idea to revisit and recreate Elizabeth. In the time I made a film, the thought never even came to my mind. The producer said "Hey we have seen Elizabeth as we completed the legal papers." Is that right? When I sat down to think about it I contacted my manager and agent. Both agreed. When you're getting older, it's the time to move on. Bitsie, on contrary is an adorable and charming name. Its cutesy. That's all it was all about. Elizabeth was not the name I chose to identify myself. Its just for billing in the future. Tulloch has Scottish and Spanish heritage. Tulloch has stated her first spoken language was Spanish however she no longer thinks she's fluent. The paternal lineage of her grandmother's family comes from Renfrewshire as does her grandfather's. Her ancestors originate from Kirkwall located in Scotland. Based on an interview she did to BBC News, we believe the first Tullochs came to America in the year in 1880. The Kerrs followed in early 1900.
