Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office The Office, for which she won the Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress and two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance from the Ensemble Comedy.
Jenna was raised within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna was awed by her mother, Anne, perform in church plays when she was young and was able to instill a love of theater and performance.
A trained theater actress, Fischer returned to her roots following the completion of The Office. She was a part of the Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy that was directed and written by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. Following her appearance in Steve Martin's new show Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy featuring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg), she performed in the record-breaking Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's closest friend from real life and Fischer began the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf at the end of October 2019. The podcast quickly became popular. Every week, it was in the Top Ten in global downloads, with over 200 million downloads in its first couple years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Awards in January 2021.
She's also the co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends There. This memoir is about the relationship between them and how they worked in the production of The Office.
